why is it that we have to learn things the hard way?does it necessarily give us the "drive"?

you possibly can't learn bio the HARD way right?i mean it's frigging easy,as in it's just pure memory work.we humans have BIG brain capacity but sadly we don't get to hold everything that we absorb.unless you are a pure genius or have photographic memory.lol
