what a meaningful day it is today. first a testimony from an ex-convict. to summarise his story, he was a drug addict and had his first taste of heroin at 11 years old. his mother left him when he was 9 months and his father was a drug addict too. he was wanted by the CNB for many times and also had been in and out of prison many times too. he was broughtup by his grandmother. but time and again, he went back to his old ways even after rehabilitation. (he even attempted suicide)

his life took a turn when he came to know about Jesus. and he performed 3 songs in church today. 1 chinese,1english and 1 hokkien. gosh he really can sing! he has came up with 4 albums and i think i composed all the songs! oh and he is married for 2 years already.

second thing: jo's father's funeral. actually it's my first time attending a christian funeral so jo gave me ways to pay my respects to her father.one, is to pray him a blessing and two, is to pray for his family memebers. i did just that. and when i saw his body in the coffin, i can't help but think how much he has slimmed down(based on his picture). chemotherapy and poor nutrition. he suffered from kidney cancer.

the 2 examples above illustrate how precious life is. don't waste time fulfilling what your heart desires. even i realise now that material things are unimportant. keep yourself in good health and always have a discerning mind.

lastly, i would like to express my sincerest condolences to mr foo, jo's father. may God bless and comfort his whole family and may he watch over them in heaven. amen.
