the new year is finally here. just wanna give thanks to the Great Lord for letting me go through this year though i had faced many problems-home and school, physical, mental and spirtual. He has given me comfort and refuge when i' down and great joy and energy when all goes well.

SU reunion is tomorrow. can't wait for it :D finally seeing the WHOLE of suzuki :D [i hope] sis joy, sis ee bean, bro shaun, joanna, gavin, bi hui, justin, fang ren, yanto, jed and yoke ming. really hope that they can come for the camp later in the year.[nov/dec i suppose, after my 'O's]

wishes/resolution time: [NOT guranteed that i will fufil all of them XD]
- spend more time with God. make quiet a daily event
- cut down or don't play maple until after O levels [sheesh!]
- start revising everyday starting from the 2nd week of school.
- make even more friends
- bring people to church
- bring people to know the Lord [okay it's almost the same]
- covenant sunday; to be a youth leader or not. [pray for me/i'll pray for myself]
- practise hard for grade 5 practical in july/august
- PUSH THE ALTOS TO DO THEIR 200% best FOR SYF :D
- cut down on vulgarities
- be more humble
- be more sensitive
- NO MORE PROCRASTINATION

yesterday's watchnight service was a memorable one. it was different this time
station one: pray for a country. i had to read a newspaper cutting. and when captain ian was talking about this station, "kuwait" just jumped into my mind. i was like "huh.?" yeah then i went to read on the article of the hanging of saddam hussein and how it has created much conflict among the muslim communtities. then i knew this was the right article because in the last few paragraphs, i saw the word "Kuwaitians" and i was thinking this is NOT a coincidence that "KUWAIT" just suddenly sprang up in my mind. after the prayer, i pasted "AMEN" over cairo. (:

station two: pray for someone who is lost/no longer having a close relationship with God. i imagined this person[i wont tell who] and then lighted a tea candle. to me it symbolises the light that is going to appear/be rekindled in that person's life (:

station three: examine a leaf and imagine it in its last days before falling to the ground. then pray for whatever you wanna let go. like a leaf falling from the tree, your bad habits "fall" from your body. (:

station four: write your prayer on strips of paper and weave them through the sheet provided [i wrote one and a half strips long with small handwriting ><] (:

station five: write a letter to God about things which you find hard to express in spoken prayer. i wrote lots of personal stuff on that yellow sheet of paper. but of course i can choose to keep it in the envelope provided or destroy when there is a need too. (:
